Be heard with Gisborne Chamber of Commerce
A key purpose of the Chamber of Commerce is to provide the best commercial environment in which you can achieve your business goals. We do this by giving business a "voice". The Chamber will influence (on your behalf) the rules and regulations that local councils and central government impose on business in order to minimise compliance costs and optimise your business performance. We will be your advocate when you need us and can assist you in overcoming obstacles.

In 2006 The Chamber contracted Greg Dwyer to do an Independent Review on Greg Dwyer Report 
- in particular the Gisborne District Council.
Even today we continue to refer back to this document and are in discussion with Council on it's content and the implications and application of different points contained within the document. It is as pertinent today as it was in 2007. Well worth reading!!!
