About Us
Katie Kay is the East Coast Regional Business Partner and is based at the Gisborne Chamber of Commerce.
Katie moved to Gisborne from Wellington where she worked with the Ministry of Economic Development in the Government’s online business resource team. She was also with NZTE in the enterprise development grants team, working with small and medium-sized businesses. And before that, Katie had five years' experience at the Korean Embassy.
She has a double degree in business commerce and administration (majoring in marketing and management) and arts (majoring in political science). She also has a graduate diploma in English literature.
More recently Katie was working in Gisborne District Council’s Economic Development Unit.
