Zilch Q&A on their plan to decarbonise Tairāwhiti's vehicle fleet.

Have you been watching the growing buzz around EVs (electric vehicles) and wondering how your business could go electric?

Zilch is a New Zealand company that helps businesses and communities decarbonise by making it easy for businesses to introduce EVs into their fleets, and making them available for staff to use for both business and private travel. Zilch manages the vehicles and the associated charging infrastructure. Its a model they call EV Mobility as a Service, and Zilch wants to create a pilot programme here in Tairāwhiti.

But it's more than just helping businesses to cut their carbon footprints. Zilch is partnering with Eastland Group, Trust Tairāwhiti and Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Porou to bring the benefits of electric vehicles to the wider community. The plan is that for every business that takes part in the pilot programme, a similar number of highly subsidised EVs will be made available to iwi and community groups in Tairāwhiti.

If you’d like to learn more about Zilch and the electric vehicle future of Tairāwhiti, you are welcome to attend a presentation and Q&A with Kirsten Corson, the co-founder of Zilch. She will talk about the vision of an electric vehicle fleet in Tairāwhiti, and how you and your business can partner with Zilch to reduce your carbon emissions.
